Project types

The type chosen at creation determines which modules are available in the sidebar menu.

Import / Export a project

Export (JSON backup)

Backup menu → Download project:

• Generates a .json file containing the entire project data
• Usable for archiving, transfer to another workstation, or restoration
• Automatically named <ProjectName>_YYYY-MM-DD.json

Import a JSON project

On the My Projects page, click Import (⬆ icon) and select a .json file exported from Polyodos. The project is recreated locally with all its data.

WARNING

Importing overwrites data if a project with the same identifier already exists. To import in parallel, first rename the source project before exporting.

Rights on a shared project

When a project is shared via the server, each collaborator is assigned a role:

The role is displayed under the project name in the sidebar.

Duplicate a project

From My Projects, project context menu (⋮) → Duplicate. An independent copy is created with the suffix — Copy. Useful for testing variants without modifying the original.

Delete a project

From My Projects, context menu (⋮) → Delete.

Irreversible

Deleting a local project is permanent. If the project is shared on a server, only your local copy is deleted — other collaborators keep their access.

Document management for an Industrial Risks study

For Industrial Risks projects, the Context page (page 0) lets you manage:

• Study sessions — dates, participants, agenda, minutes of each working session
• Related documents — references of input documents (P&ID, PFD, MSDS, etc.)
• Revalidation — tracking of the study's review deadlines (frequency, triggering criteria, owner)
