Export / Import
Backup and restoration of the study and libraries as a file.
Two tabs
| Tab | Scope |
|---|---|
| Current study | Context, risks, scenarios, PACD… — all analysis data |
| Libraries | The project's referentials |
Export
Choose a file name, and optionally AES-256 encryption with a password (entered twice).
An encrypted export cannot be recovered without its password
There is no recovery mechanism. Keep the password separate from the file.
Import
Drag the file into the designated area, or click to choose it.
Import replaces everything
Importing a study replaces all current data with the file's content. Export the current state before importing if you are not sure.
When to use this instead of server backup
File export addresses three needs that server synchronisation does not cover:
- archiving a dated state of the study, independently of the server;
- transmitting a study to someone without an account;
- migrating between two instances (public server ↔ private server).
This is not a version backup
This export does not replace regulatory archiving of successive study versions — it captures a dated state, with no built-in history.
